Why should I follow a plant based diet?

There are different reasons to follow a plant based diet and it is not for everyone. Although I am a proponent of animal foods, as a nutritionist my job is to support your chosen style of eating in the healthiest way possible.

For anyone interested in following a plant based diet, getting healthy recipe inspiration and eating balanced meals can be key to feeling well. Without proper planning, vegans and vegetarians often struggle to get adequate nutrition through foods alone. I created this meal plan for anyone currently following a plant based diet, but is feeling uninspired with recipes or wants to ensure more balanced meal choices and for anyone new to plant based eating wanting a nutritious plan to start with. The meal plan is diverse in nutrients and focuses on adequate protein, fat and carbohydrates. You can tailor each recipe to your individual needs.

This healthy meal plan includes four weeks of breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks daily. Included are healthy recipes, a weekly planner and weekly grocery shopping list. This meal plan includes a perfect balance of macronutrients and micronutrients to keep your body happy. Created by a nutritionist to ensure basic nutrition requirements are met, while keeping each day diverse. Meals not included. This meal plan will not treat or cure any condition and is not a replacement for medical treatment of any kind.
